Spiritual Wellness at Roland Park Place
While Roland Park Place does not have any religious affiliation, we support our resident’s religious and spiritual needs. Our residents come from many different faith backgrounds and our full-time chaplain works to make sure they can attend services and celebrate holidays. The benefits residents experience when they engage in spiritual practices include reduced loneliness and improvement in their physical health.
Our full-time chaplain ensures that residents’ spiritual needs are met through personal connections as well as group connections. For tough times and difficult changes, our chaplain will meet with residents and organize any spiritual services that will help support their needs. Spiritual community care is provided to the Roland Park Place community during hard times.
Spiritual care and worship opportunities take place on a monthly and seasonal basis. Some examples of gatherings from this month include Catholic Communion, Sunday Worship, Pray Group gatherings, and Shabbat dinners. If a resident is going off our campus for a religious service, transportation can be provided by our drivers.
We are committed to reaching all of the diverse religious and spiritual beliefs of our residents. If a resident comes with an idea for a spiritual service or gathering, we will help organize and facilitate it. Next week’s blog post will continue the wellness series by focusing on nutritional wellness. If you haven’t read last week’s post, you can by clicking here.
