Meet our June Pet of the Month, Georgie!
Georgie’s owner Mimi received him as a birthday gift from her husband, Jim, in November 2010. Mimi remembers Georgie looking like a little puffball with a touch of apricot in his fur reminding her of a Georgia peach. Hence his name, Georgie! Even though Georgie is a cockapoo, he looks like a Bijon Frise and even has the intelligence of a poodle.
Georgie follows Mimi everywhere. He follows her all around the house and into the bathroom where he brings his toys, dropping them in the bathtub. Currently, his favorite toy is his “Pirate Chicken” which has since needed a replacement because of how much he plays with it!
Georgie’s trainer said she has never seen a dog so motivated by food. Georgie loves anyone who gives him treats like his friends Gwen, Tiffany, Kim, Brian, and Adrian. He even loves the treats at the front desk! Georgie loves living at RPP and everyone here!
