Creating Community through Social Wellness
Social isolation is common for seniors and moving into senior living can be the best and most efficient way to eliminate this. When seniors have access to a community where they can engage in meaningful connections, their mood, cognitive abilities, and overall wellness improve. Our community at Roland Park Place provides many opportunities for our residents to connect.
Apartment-style living promotes community building. Each floor has a floor representative to welcome new residents, organize social events, and be a voice for the floor. Instead of walking down a street to visit a favorite neighbor, your friends are now down the hall! Meeting friends for dinner is easy in the Landing. Our dining rooms are always full of lively conversation over great food. While we have a delicious dining program, it is fun to explore new restaurants! Our activities programming features lunch and dinner excursions every month to local restaurants.
An exciting part of retirement is the additional time to peruse hobbies and interests. Our wide range of clubs and committees means you will have others to play poker with or practice your Spanish. If you have a passion, we can help you start a club so that other residents can be a part of the fun!
Roland Park Place is designed for you to forge connections and discover new friends. Having a strong community means that our residents can prosper while sharing their experiences and passions with others.
