Meet October’s Pet of the Month, Big Mac!
Big Mac came into his owner Joan’s life in September 2017 five months after her husband John passed away. One day on Valentine’s Day she opened her front door and a middle-aged, 20-pound, white and ginger cat dashed in between her legs, racing to the back of her house. Joan tried to coax him to leave and go home but he stubbornly refused. She noticed the cat was abandoned and terrified.
Joan’s friends were convinced that her husband John had sent her this cat. She contemplated naming him Johnson, but Big Mac suited him more. Currently, his favorite activity is getting squirted with the squirt gun. Big Mac has since been her loyal companion, making great friends with the staff at RPP and her two neighbors.
