In 2024, our very own Sam Geudouar was recognized by the Daily Record as one of Maryland’s most admired CEOs. Most Admired CEOs honors talented business CEOs, higher education leaders and nonprofit executive directors throughout Maryland whose leadership and vision are admired by those around them. A panel of judges selects these winners based on professional accomplishments, community service and the letters of reference submitted by co-workers, board members and community leaders showing the CEOs’ leadership and vision.

Sam Geudouar, Roland Park Place CEO, has been accepted into the LeadingAge Larry Minnix Leadership Academy, a nationally recognized program dedicated to cultivating transformative leaders in aging services. The Leadership Academy is a unique professional development program designed to help aging services professionals uncover and leverage their authentic leadership styles through a curriculum that emphasizes reflective practice, self-exploration, and relationship-building.
As part of our promise to provide residents with exceptional senior living, Roland Park Place now proudly offers LEED Silver-Certified apartments. LEED-certified homes are designed and built to be energy and resource efficient, while also being more healthy and durable for our residents.
Newsweek and Statista have ranked Roland Park Place as the #1 CCRC in Maryland in 2024 and 2025. We have ranked #11 in the country in 2024 and #6 in 2025. This ranking is based on national online surveys, visitor satisfaction scores, accreditation scores and Google review scores.

They enable senior care organizations to act on what their employees, patients and residents care about most, ultimately helping them increase retention, satisfaction and organizational stability. Senior Care’s Best from WeCare Connect acknowledges top-performing organizations for results that come to light through our robust survey methodology.
Roland Park Place has been recognized as one of the Best Nursing Homes in the country by U.S. News & World Report. In 2024, we were recognized for our high-performing short-term rehabilitation. In 2025, we were recognized for both our short-term rehabilitation and our long-term care.
