Whether it is a new exercise in the Fitness Center, a good read in the library, or a trip to an outstanding art exhibition, residents of Roland Park Place find pleasure in the discovery of new opportunities and the renewal of old ones. The pervasive atmosphere of this haven on West 40th Street is best expressed by the often-heard phrase:

Answer: What the accreditation process means for you is that CARF-CCAC has already done the legwork of thoroughly investigating and vetting Roland Park Place as a safe, financially sound and responsible organization, from operations and beyond. Rest assured that this literal “gold seal” of approval is awarded to only the very best in the senior living industry. In fact, fewer than 10% of all Life Plan or Continuing Care Retirement Communities (CCRCs) nationally achieve this accreditation.
This accreditation is also evidence of Roland Park Place’s commitment to rigorous self-evaluation and continuous organizational improvement. We’ve maintained our accreditation since 1990.

- We are governed by a volunteer Board of Directors rather than a group of shareholders or investors. Without the need to pay dividends to stockholders, Roland Park Place can reinvest funds into meaningful services, staff education, and Resident programs to enhance your quality of life.
- Organizational decisions are based on Roland Park Place’s mission, vision, and values, not on what will generate profits. Unlike for-profit communities, the leadership at Roland Park Place does not answer to a corporate office or offer cookie-cutter solutions.
