The newest Little Free Library in the neighborhood is added by Roland Park Place!
Roland Park Place resident, Rita Collins suggested a Little Free Library in front of RPP. She said that she would supply the books and an entire team jumped in to make it happen!
The library was ordered and Wellness Manager, Angie Gentile asked for volunteers to help decorate the library, which came in pieces for ease of decoration. Resident Kathy Alexander developed a design, requested the paint colors and enlisted the help of resident Carol Dombrowski to create the beautiful artwork for the library’s exterior.
The RPP facilities team made sure the libary was assembled, weatherproofed and installed next to the sidewalk in front of the hedge on 40th Street. True to her word, Rita Collins filled the library with books in time for the big reveal on September 8th, Internaltional Literacy Day.
Roland Park Place is honored to be able to share this gift with our surrounding community!
