Sam Guedouar honored on Daily Record’s MD500 and 2026 Influential Marylanders Lists

RPP CEO and President, Sam Guedouar, was recently recognized with two distinct awards from the Baltimore Daily Record.The recognition from The Daily Record underscores Sam’s influence within Maryland’s senior living and healthcare community.  

Sam was among only two leaders honored in the Retirement/Assisted Living categories of the MD500. The MD500, launched in 2026, recognizes 500 leaders across 38 professional sectors, including Retirement/Assisted Living. Selected by The Daily Record’s editorial team, the list highlights individuals who hold positions of power and influence across Maryland’s defining industries.

Meanwhile, the Influential Marylanders program, established in 2006, recognizes Marylanders who have made significant contributions to their fields and demonstrated leadership throughout the state. 

For Sam, effective leadership is grounded in a philosophy built on accountability and connection:

Sam brings nearly 20 years of leadership experience in continuing care retirement communities to Roland Park Place, where he has served as President and CEO since joining the organization in 2020. His career began in hospitality, where he managed upscale and luxury hotels across the United States before transitioning into healthcare and senior living. 

Sam’s recognition among Maryland’s influential leaders is a testament to the impact of his leadership on the organization, its associates, residents, and the broader senior living community.
