Roland Park Place Celebrates Mental Health Awareness Month with a Heartwarming Pet Parade
In celebration of Mental Health Awareness Month, Roland Park Place recently hosted a pawsitively delightful pet parade that showcased the beloved pets of our residents. The event, organized by resident Kathy Alexander, featured competitions for best costume, best voice, best wag, and best trick, bringing joy and excitement to everyone involved.
“They lift our spirits. They calm us down. They make us feel young. They’re just wonderful.”
– Kathy Alexander, Resident and Event Organizer
The event also hosted a “Flealess Market,” with Roland Park Place donating the proceeds to ASPCA. This heartwarming occasion drew the attention of local news outlets Fox Baltimore, WMAR, and WYPR, underscoring the profound impact of companionship on mental health. From labs to chihuahuas, our furry friends brought smiles, laughter, and a sense of community to everyone involved.
