As an experienced senior development professional, Michelle Lacey joined Roland Park Place in 2018 with more than 20 years of experience in nonprofit development and foundation management. Specializing in improving community health, Michelle has worked for both national non-profits and local governments promoting programs that optimize health for all populations. Michelle’s expertise encompasses the full suite of fundraising genres including individual giving, major gifts, grants, foundation and corporate giving, special events and planned giving. She also brings to RPP more than a decade of experience in public relations, volunteer management and Board liasoning.
Michelle previously worked with the American Red Cross and the American Heart Association. As Director of Development she provided the leadership and fundraising expertise necessary for the implementation and sustainably of mission-specific critical programs aimed at improving the quality of life of all populations in the Mid-Atlantic region.
Michelle has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Temple University and a master’s degree (MS) in Healthcare Administration from the University of Maryland.
