2018 Elf Project — Helping the Salvation Army

For over five years, Roland Park Place has volunteered to help the Baltimore City Salvation Army sort, fill and pack holiday gift boxes to be distributed to Baltimore’s needy children at Christmas.

The RPP Community Involvement Committee oversees this annual charitable effort and is busy rallying volunteers to assist with this massive holiday effort at the Salvation Army warehouse on December 3 from 2:00-4:00 p.m.

While the work can be strenuous, it’s always a lot of fun, and staff and resident volunteers frequently report coming away from the experience with a feeling of gratitude and a renewed appreciation for those less fortunate.
