Welcome to Roland Park Place! There's so much to show you and tell you about, whether you visit us in person, or are taking our virtual tour from the comfort of your home or office. We've organized this tour to introduce you to our facilities, floor plans, activity programs, services and amenities.

Facilities are comprehensive. You'll be surprised at all that is available within our 8-story building. Views are spectacular, whether you are gazing down to the Inner Harbor or enjoying the serenity of the courtyard. Most apartments offer spacious balconies or patios.

Grounds are beautifully landscaped, providing a peaceful, park-like setting, a secluded courtyard, and benches.

Parking areas on the grounds are well-lit for safety. Residents park in designated spaces, and valet service is available. Visitor parking is near the front entrance.

Security and Reception. The reception desk, in our beautifully decorated lobby, maintains 24-hour guest check-in and security are on staff after business hours and on weekends.

Indoor Pool

Fitness and Aquatics Center.With state of the art exercise equipment and a large pool, residents enjoy a greater choice of exercise options, as well as other therapeutic, restorative and health promotion benefits. Two full-time fitness staff trainers work daily with residents and conduct therapeutic classes.

Eleanor F. Daly Health Care Center. The state-of-the-art Daly Health Care Center is staffed 24-hours-a-day with licensed nurses and certified nursing assistants (CNA's). Both skilled and comprehensive care is provided in a residential setting. In addition to private resident rooms, the facility offers two multipurpose rooms, the Chesapeake Dining Room, and a lovely second-floor covered terrace and an uncovered first-floor outdoor patio.

Esther Jacoby Ambulatory Care Center. Located on the second floor, the Esther Jacoby Ambulatory Care Center offers services of internal medicine physicians, certified registered nurse practitioners and other specialists, by appointment.

The Olga V. Bawden Rehabilitation Center. Effective services for physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech pathology are available in our on-site Bawden Rehabilitation Center. The Bawden Center is located off the Daly Health Care Center lobby.

Alfresco Dining

Dining Rooms. There are four dining rooms in the building: the elegantly appointed John Short Dining Room on the ground level with courtyard views and seasonal alfresco dining on the patio; the casual dining in the Café located on the ground floor which overlooks a courtyard; the attractive Residential Care Dining Room on the second floor for assisted living; and, the Chesapeake Dining Room within the Eleanor F. Daly Health Care Center. Residents enjoy inviting friends and family members for meals prepared by RPP's own Dining Services staff. Whether it's for breakfast, lunch or dinner, a lavish Champagne Brunch, a special holiday meal, or a catered party, fine dining is an anticipated "event" at Roland Park Place.

The auditorium, adjacent to the John Short Dining Room, offers flexible space for a variety of daytime and evening programs. With state-of-the-art audio and visual technology and an attractive moveable partition, the auditorium provides additional space for larger brunch or holiday meal functions as well as accommodates our life-long learning programs and activities.

Margaret Bright Social Room. This comfortable lounge on the first floor is used for private parties, receptions, meetings, socializing, and weekly bridge games.

Clipper Mill Commons (I & II). These two adjoining rooms are a flexible, multi-use space and can include auditorium-style seating for viewing a large screen television or academic classes or religious services.

Woodberry Commons

Woodbury Commons. Recently renovated, the Woodberry Commons family room was designed for Daly Health Care Center residents and their families to have comfortable space to prepare daily or holiday meals or to just spend time together. A lovely outdoor patio next to RPP’s raised garden beds can be accessed through this room.

Greenway Room. With its lovely three Duncan Fife pedestal tables, the Greenway Room offers a smaller, more intimate setting for resident-catered dinner parties and events.

Stone Hill Studio. This beautiful arts and crafts studio, with abundant natural light, is heavily used by a diverse group of resident artists as well as those who enjoy crafts of all types.

Dot Com Center. In response to increasing numbers of residents who are using computers, or want to develop computer skills and learn new applications, RPP dedicated a room for computers and individual instruction.

Otto Kraushaar Library. The Library has an extensive collection of books, magazines, newspapers, and other materials, and offers a comfortable place to read or work.

Petite Gallerie. A portion of the first floor hallway has been dedicated to changing art exhibits featuring works in a variety of media by residents and regional artists.
